Meet Our Founder
NVLX Labs was created by Laverne, a certified loctician, trichology analyst, and longtime advocate for healthy loc’d hair - someone who saw firsthand what was missing in the market and decided to build it herself. With over a decade of hands-on experience working with locs, she ensured every product was created in science, intention, and deep respect for the loc’d journey.
Our founder’s work and expertise have been featured in Forbes, Oprah Daily, and Byrdie, but her impact extends far beyond press. Through mentorship, education, and philanthropy, she remains committed to guiding the loc’d community with honesty, care, and purpose - while giving back through initiatives that support women’s health, education, and sustainability.
